The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) is the national independent regulator of financial services. The FCA legally require us to provide you with an Initial Disclosure Document to help you decide if our services are right for you. This document provides information about Central (UK) Vehicle Leasing Limited, the products we offer, the services we will provide, what we charge for our services, who regulates us, what to do if you have a complaint, and details about the Financial Services Compensation Scheme.

Central (UK) Vehicle Leasing Limited is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). We are permitted by the FCA to carry out credit broking, debt administration, debt counselling and advising in regard to the arrangement of non-investment insurance products. Central (UK) Vehicle Leasing Limited is a credit broker and not a lender.
The Products we offer
As a Financial Conduct Authority regulated credit broker, we may introduce you to a range of finance providers who may be able to help you finance your vehicle and provide other products/services. such as but not limited to vehicle maintenance and servicing packages. We will only offer products from a carefully selected panel of finance providers. We will not refer you outside of this panel without your consent. You can ask us for a list of the suppliers who provide our finance and insurance products. All the products we offer are optional.
The Credit Broking Services we provide
In assessing your needs and requirements we will need to obtain some information about your personal circumstances and demands. Depending on your responses we will make recommendations that are suitable for your individual needs and establish a line of credit. It is always important that you provide us with accurate and relevant information so that we can try and find a product or agreement that is most suitable to you.
The Charge for Our Credit Broking Services
As an FCA licensed organisation we rely purely on commission and extra fees, such as our administration fee. We charge the following fees:
- Administration Fee – We charge a administrative fee of £180.00 inc. VAT for our services. We charge this fee for our services and it represents the costs incurred for arranging the sale, ordering the vehicle, arranging the finance and organising delivery of the vehicle. This is payable by debit or /credit card or BACS payment and is taken once the finance approval has been received along with all the relevant paperwork signed by yourself instructing us to place an order on your behalf.
- Cancellation Fee – We charge a cancellation fee of £360.00 inc. VAT should you cancel your order for the supply of the vehicle, there is no cancellation charge for the supply of the finance, an invoice will be issued when you (the customer) cancel the order, payment should be made within 7 working days. (A breakdown of the cost can be supplied if requested). This can be paid by debit/credit card, or by bank transfer.
- Contract Extension – some finance companies allow you to extend your contract after the contract end date on an informal extension. Central (UK) Vehicle Leasing Limited will charge a contract extension arrangement fee of £114.00 inc. VAT payable by debit/credit card or BACS payment. Please note that not all finance companies offer a contract extension.
- Commission Disclosure - Central (UK) Vehicle Leasing LTD may be paid a commission for introducing you to a funder/supplier. This amount that is capped at a percentage of the tax list price of the vehicle and is generated via a upsell of the rental amount. We may also receive an extra amount annually or quarterly based on how much business we generate for an individual funder and the quality of our services provided. Any commissions for Central the funder and/or supplier will be reflected in your monthly rental payments. We will provide a full Commission Disclosure detailing all avenues and amounts at Order Stage. After Credit acceptance has been received and prior to your commitment to sale. This will be included int the T&C of your order confirmation for you to review and provide consent before your order can be finalised
Confidentiality and Data Protection
Central (UK) Vehicle Leasing Limited is committed to complying with the UK’s Data Protection Law and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Whilst obtaining finance for your vehicle, we will pass your details on to one or more of our finance providers. Their details are available upon request. These lenders will need to undertake credit searches with a credit reference agency which may affect your credit rating.
What should I do if I have a complaint?
If you are unsatisfied with the service we have provided for any reason then please visit our dedicated Complaints Procedure page.
We do have a documented complaints procedure and a copy of ours will be made available to you upon request, or if you make a complaint against us. Where possible we aim to settle a complaint within 3 days, allowing the original staff member and complainant to come to a resolution. If not resolved in this period, your complaint will be forwarded and logged as a ‘Formal Complaint’
In the unlikely event that a complaint remained unresolved after 8 weeks from the date it was made, you may be entitled to refer it to the Financial Ombudsman Service or the BVRLA.
