Commission Disclosure

Central (UK) Vehicle Leasing Limited acts as a credit broker/introducer, not a finance lender and will not provide impartial or independent financial advice or recommendations connected with finance. We have a commercial agreement with a specific panel of funders to introduce customers to them, and are partial to offering Contract Hire products and prices from our selected partners. We do not search the entire market or explore all possible finance products that may be available and more suited to your requirements.

This commission disclosure declaration can be summarized as follows:

  1. No Advice Given: We do not provide financial advice, but we offer detailed information on the products customers are interested in. Customers are encouraged to ask questions so they can make informed decisions.

  2. Main Source of Income: Our primary income comes from commissions received from our funders for introducing customers to them.

  3. Additional Commissions: We may also receive commissions from vehicle suppliers or manufacturers, in addition to the funds received from the finance providers.

  4. Commission and Income Disclosure: We provide transparency by sharing the commission structure and any other income we will receive if the customer proceeds with a quotation and enters into an agreement with the finance company

We as a distributor receive commission from a variety of avenues for our services. This can vary depending on the offer available and how it is built. The presence of commission may affect the rental costs payable by the customer during the lease period and/or act as an undue incentive to recommend a particular product or select a financial provider.

Central UK Vehicle Leasing’s internal commission cap is 10% of vehicle RRP (Exemption to rule – if additional work carried out warrants additional commission built in).

Customers can request disclosure of commission at any stage by emailing the Business Manager [email protected].

Customers can request disclosure of commission at any stage (please see commission disclosure on our website via the link below). We will provide a full Commission Disclosure detailing all avenues and amounts at Order Stage after credit acceptance has been received and prior to your commitment to sale. This will be included int the T&C of your order confirmation for you to review and provide consent before your order can be finalised.

Below is an explanation of the possible avenues and descriptions of the structure:

  • Noted standard “flat rate” commission paid by the dealer on the deal.
  • Commission built into the quote by upsell of the rentals, therefore these payments could be reflected in the monthly lease rate that you pay for your vehicle.
  • Noted commission caps instructed by the finance company used by the dealer (if dealer funded).
  • Amount reaches Central commission cap.

Commission From Finance Company

This money is paid to Central by the selected finance company. The amount can vary depending on the following.

  • The standard minimum commission level set by the finance company.
  • Noted commission caps instructed by the finance company.
  • Commission built into the quote by upsell of the rentals, therefore these payments could be reflected in the monthly lease rate that you pay for your vehicle.
  • Amount reaches Central commission cap.

Volume Bonuses/Quality of Sale Bonus

From Supplying Dealer or Finance Company

This money is paid to Central by the supplying dealer and/or the selected finance company. The amount can vary depending on what agreement has been made between the supplying dealer/finance company and Central and can depend on targets set/reached.
