Is Smart a good car?

Is a Smart a good first car?
Abso-blooming-lutely! Its compact size makes it easy to park and manoeuvre. Its ‘pod’ shell makes it one of the safest cars around. And they attract the cheapest insurance rates around. The auto gearbox also makes it a easy comfortable drive too, there is unfortunately not a manual option though.. but who needs that!
Is a Smart a good family car?
The Smart ForFour is a great family car for the smaller family. As the name suggests this model come with seating for 4 adults. The ForFour is A good, fun-looking run-around for domestic use that has much to commend it.
Is the Smart a good car for dogs?
Smart are renowned for making small compact cars, so probably not the go to brand for a dog owner, unless it’s a second car. However, the ForFour could accommodate a small furry companion if needed. Or you could of course have them up front with you on the passenger seat – with a suitable harness of course.
Is Smart good for towing?
Smart are not built for towing, we would not recommend trying. Some people get away with it! (see here). The Smart are more used to being towed themselves! Many campers choose the Smart as there run around while on holiday as it is ideal for being towed to any destination.
Is there a hybrid Smart?
Yes, Smart do offer Hybrid. The smart fortwo micro hybrid drive uses idling phases to switch off the engine and temporarily completely avoid fuel consumption, exhaust gas and noise emissions.
Is there an electric Smart ?
Smart offer Electric across the whole of there range. Sticking with the Micro city car body & chassis, the Smart EV offers all the benefits of a standard smart with the added bonus of greener driving and fuel saving.
What’s it like to drive?
Everyone in our opinion should experience the fun of driving a Smart if only once. Its quirky driving style and diddy size make it a thrill even without any reel power it’s a good laugh! fundamentally it's designed for a task. It's a small city car for congested cities and it so economical It's almost free to run.
