Is Abarth a good car?

With years or Italian automotive heritage and racing pedigree, Abarth produce the perfect car for a spirited driver. If you are looking for speed, balance and a good weekend drive this will be the brand for yourself.

Is an Abarth a good first car?

I doubt the Abarth is the best first car. Usually, a vehicle with a lot of power and acceleration requires some experience before it is a good idea.

Is an Abarth a good family car?

Abarth’s are not geared towards becoming the greatest family car. Their main business model is based on small pocket rockets. In a nutshell, probably not going to be the best choice if you are thinking family car.

Is the Abarth a good car for dogs?

Again, unless your dogs are very small, the Abarth’s wouldn’t be the top recommendation. With harder suspension and generally being on the smaller side, as it is based on the fiat 500. Its not the go to car for dog lovers.

Is Abarth good for towing?

Abarth aren’t the go-to brand for towing either. The 595 will tow up to 8ookg. But ultimately with the racing prowess of Abarth and what they design, I do believe towing would have been their main focus.

Is there a hybrid Abarth?

Unfortunately, there are no options for Hybrid in the Abarth brand currently.

Is there an electric Abarth?

Abarth haven’t manufactured any electric vehicles yet. It might be coming soon but we’re still waiting on it!

What's it like to drive?

Recently I took delivery of my new Abarth 595 70th anniversary. I must admit, I goes like an absolute rocket. I new the hype surrounding them but experiencing it is a whole next level- grippy in the corners and plenty of power to have fun on the open road… obviously within the speed limit!

Its not the biggest of cars, but I didn’t buy it for the space. I initially bought it as a nippy commuting car, so I could get in and out of the city quickly. Makes a great daily, the mpg isn’t too bad and its bags of fun. Wish I got it for 4 years rather than 3!

What does it look like?

Abarth have stuck with their heritage and chose to base the 595 and 695 off the iconic Fiat 500. It does take the 500 to the next level. With a beffier body kit, upgraded wheels and just a generally sportier feel, it really stands out on the road.

What is it like inside?

The inside of the Abarth gives you a slight race car feel, from the subtle drops of carbon to the boost gauge / rev counter poking out of the dash. Ultimately for a compact space, a very comfortable place to be as everything is within arm's reach.
