Central (UK) Vehicle Leasing Ltd recognise that our customers often have a need for short term vehicle hire, this could be a result of a delay in your current lease order or for an ad-hoc requirement whether for business or pleasure.
In conjunction with Enterprise we can offer short term vehicle hire for private individuals, start up or established businesses without fleet insurance.
What are the customer benefits?
Enterprise has a network for 370 branches across the UK, free pick up and drop service and access to a fleet of over 50,000 rental vehicles.
What does the driver need to provide to hire a vehicle?
The driver must provide driving licence, photographic ID, proof of address, credit card rental and deposit. If they cannot satisfy the underwriting criteria they will not be provided a car.
Will the driver be required to change vehicles mid-term?
This depends on the level of mileage the driver is doing and the length of the rental, it is kept to a minimum where possible.
Can specific vehicles be requested?
No, daily rental is based on group alone. If the driver has a preference Enterprise will note this but it cannot be guaranteed.
What happens if the driver breaks down?
Enterprise daily rental contracts have a 24 hour dedicated breakdown number giving 24 hour road side assistance for the driver. They can call this number for a repair or an alternative hire vehicle will be arranged. The telephone number is on the back of the tax disc and / or the key fob of the rental vehicle.

Online booking done by the driver should be less than 5 minutes.
